2015 WEA Small/Rural Locals Spring Conference
The annual WEA conference will be held Feb. 20-21 in Spokane for members of small/rural locals. It's an opportunity for members from WEA locals with 175 members or fewer to strengthen locals and build relationships.
This year's conference starts at 1:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Spokane Education Association office. After registration, participants will attend sessions that address the impact of various legislative issues from a small/rural local perspective and how WEA supports its members. Dinner and reception follows. On Saturday, Feb. 21, participants will select two classes to attend.
Review this year's class offerings. A total of six clock hours will be available for $5, payable at the conference by cash or check only.
Lodging for Feb. 20 will be at the Red Lion Inn at the Park in Spokane. Rooms are are double occupancy. WEA will make the reservation for you, if you sign up for it when you register below. The hotel reservation cut-off date is Jan. 27, so register now to take advantage of the special room block rate. If you register after Jan. 27, you will be responsible for any additional rooming charges.
