South Sound Saturday School

Saturday School will be held March 21 and we've got an awesome slate of professional development opportunities for WEA members. It'll be a chance for you to connect with colleagues and your Association around some great new topics, as well as some of the old favorites. Many classes provide STEM clock hours as well as meet the paraeducation certification requirements. We'll have a variety of topics including gamification, strategies on how to promote safe inclusive classrooms, implicit bias, special education, data collection, embracing diversity plus a full slate of other offerings.

Read about the 2020 course offerings. Note: All STEM classes are full as of Feb. 20. Any registration for a STEM class will be placed on a waitlist in case space becomes available.

Registration is $35 for WEA members. Nonmembers are eligible to sign up for any of the special education courses offered and the fee is $200. Participants can take up to two classes -- one full-day (6 hours) course or two half-day (3 hours each). Breakfast and lunch will be served. Up to 6 clock hours will be available.

Space is limited. Classes are filled first come, first served, and will close once capacity has been reached, so please select five course choices. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Friday, March 6. If you have questions, please email us.

Note: Please use Chrome or Firefox as your Internet browser when completing registration. Avoid using Internet Explorer -- we have had instances with IE not processing registration completely.
